This information is created in order to make known with the utmost transparency and confidentiality what personal data (hereinafter, “Data”) the Searcode SRL (hereinafter, the “Searcode”), based in Catanzaro in Viale degli Angioini 89/A, as the Data Controller as well as the representative subject of the brand Coverride (hereinafter, “Coverride”), collects through its websites and applications and in what way such Data are used in compliance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data.

Place of data processing

 

We process personal data that we receive from you when you place an order on our websites or by using our services and applications. We also collect personal data from customers who communicate with us by e-mail and from those who provide their e-mail address to register for our applications or websites and/or to subscribe to our mailing list. In addition, we collect personal data provided by visitors to our website and applications.

When a user visits our websites and uses our applications, certain information may be collected or requested in order to facilitate Searcode in managing its relationship with the user. Such information may include:

Method of processing and storage

 

We process Data through automated means (e.g., using electronic procedures and media) and/or manually (e.g., on paper) only for as long as necessary for our relationship with you or to fulfill our contractual and statutory obligations in accordance with applicable laws (such as retention obligations under trade or tax laws). Generally, the time limit for retention or documentation specified in applicable laws ranges from 2 to 10 years. After the relevant retention periods expire, your personal data may be deleted (on a regular basis), anonymized, or transferred to an archive. In such an archive, the user’s personal data could be used for historical, scientific or statistical purposes, dispute resolution, and investigation. The information collected by Searcode is stored on its own systems and in whatever region the suppliers Searcode uses operate. The Data Controller has taken technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk in accordance with Art. 32 of the GDPR, so as to prevent the loss of Data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

Privacy of minors

 

Searcode will not intentionally collect personal information from a person who is not legally an adult as defined by local law. Searcode does not target minors in connection with websites to applications and related services attached thereto. In the event that Searcode uses or publishes Personal Information from a person who is not legally an adult, it will seek parental consent according to local laws and regulations in order to protect that person.

Right to be forgotten

 

Pursuant to Articles 15-21 of the GDPR, in relation to the Data disclosed, the Data Subject has the right to:

– access and request a copy; – request deletion/rectification; – obtain restriction of processing; – object to processing carried out on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller; – receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit without hindrance such Data to another Data Controller, where technically feasible; – lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, a Data Subject who considers that the processing concerning him or her violates the Privacy Legislation has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the Member State where he or she resides or usually works, or of the State where the alleged violation occurred.

The above listed does not apply to information made available to third parties that are beyond the reach of Searcode.
