Terms and Conditions of Purchase on the Website

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of Coverride products on the official website. Acceptance of these Terms is required in order to purchase products, both for registered customers and guest users.

These Terms and Conditions constitute a contract between SEARCODE SRL, VAT No. 03723130799, with registered office at Viale Magna Grecia 57, 88100 Catanzaro (CZ), Italy (hereinafter “Searcode”), manufacturer of Coverride products, and the visitor who completes an order on this website (hereinafter the “Customer”), who, by proceeding with the purchase, expressly accepts the terms set out below.

1 – Disclaimer, Product Representation and General Information

1.1 Use of iPhone Images on the Website

The images used on this website, including those depicting iPhone devices, are for illustrative purposes only. These images are intended to demonstrate compatibility between our products and iPhone devices and do not imply that such devices are included with the products sold, nor do they imply any association with Apple Inc. “iPhone” is a registered trademark of Apple Inc., and all rights to the trademark and related products are the exclusive property of Apple Inc.

1.2 Product Presentation and Compatibility

The images displayed on the website are indicative of the “Coverride” cover models designed for compatibility with iPhone 13 Pro. However, to facilitate extended compatibility with other iPhone models, including iPhone 12, 13, and 14, the design of the “Coverride” covers has been optimized to fit multiple devices. This approach allows a single “Coverride” cover model to work with several iPhone generations.

As a result, the camera cutout on “Coverride” products compatible with iPhone 12, iPhone 13, or iPhone 14 may appear slightly larger than the actual camera module on those devices. This design choice ensures broader compatibility across multiple iPhone models with a single product, simplifying the Customer experience without affecting product functionality in any way.

Coverride Smart Pendant is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

1.3 Product Modifications

Searcode strives to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date. However, we reserve the right to modify specifications, prices, and product availability without notice, in order to improve product quality and compatibility. Such modifications may also be applied to extend compatibility with additional devices.

1.4 Purchases Without an Account

Coverride products may be purchased without creating an account. Even in this case, the Customer must provide the information necessary for order processing, including shipping address and payment details.

1.5 Package Contents

Each Coverride package includes:

  • 1 x Coverride

  • 1 x 20W charger with Type-C input (for iPhone charging) and USB (for Coverride charging)

  • 1 x USB to Type-C charging cable

  • 1 x Instruction manual provided in QR Code format

Each Coverride Smart Pendant package includes:

  • 1 x Coverride Smart Pendant

  • 1 x Necklace

  • 1 x Instruction manual provided in QR Code format

1.6 Quality Control

Searcode performs a thorough inspection of every unit before shipment, including product testing for a minimum of 10 hours. Each product undergoes tests on design updates via the official app, button functionality on the shell, and charging capabilities. The casing, electronic components, and battery are inspected and tested before assembly.

2 – Product Shipping, Packaging, and Claims

2.1 Shipping Terms

Searcode commits to shipping products within 2 business days from order confirmation, subject to product availability. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and shipping method selected during checkout.

2.2 Shipping Costs

Standard shipping is free of charge. However, alternative shipping methods (if available), such as express shipping or cash-on-delivery, may incur additional costs. Customs duties and taxes may apply to orders placed outside Italy and will be entirely borne by the Customer.

2.3 Shipment Tracking

Once the order has been shipped, Searcode will provide the Customer with a tracking number to monitor the shipment.

2.4 Liability for Delays or Loss

Searcode is not responsible for delivery delays caused by external factors or the courier. In case of lost packages, Searcode will collaborate with the courier to resolve the issue.

2.5 Packaging Claims

Searcode packages all products following strict quality control procedures. The product is placed inside a rigid protective box, sealed with polypropylene film, and shipped in a tamper-resistant box with optional adhesive closure or otherwise adequately sealed.

For any claims regarding packaging or transport damage, the Customer agrees to:

  • accept the parcel from the courier with reservation, and

  • record a video before opening the package, clearly showing the damage to the packaging and any possible impact on the internal contents.

In the absence of acceptance with reservation and a video recorded prior to opening, after-sales support cannot be guaranteed and responsibility will rest solely with the Customer.

2.6 International Shipping

Searcode may ship products within the European Union and the United States through appropriate agreements with third-party logistics providers.

3 – Payments

3.1 Accepted Payment Methods

Searcode accepts several payment methods, including credit cards and PayPal. The available options are shown during the checkout process.

3.2 Payment Security

Searcode uses industry-standard encryption technologies to protect Customer payment information. Credit card data is not stored on our servers for enhanced security.

3.3 Invoicing

After payment, the Customer will receive an order receipt.
You can request an invoice by sending an email to info@coverride.com.

4 – Returns and Refunds

4.1 Right of Withdrawal

Customers purchasing from the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without needing to provide any reason. This right applies to all products purchased on the Coverride website, provided they are in unaltered condition and in their original packaging.

4.2 How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify Searcode through an explicit declaration sent by email to info@coverride.com. The deadline is met if the Customer sends the communication before the expiry of the withdrawal period stated in Article 3.1.

4.3 Effects of Withdrawal

In case of withdrawal, all payments made by the Customer—including shipping costs (except for additional costs arising from choosing a non-standard shipping method as described in Article 2.2)—will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date Searcode is informed of the Customer’s decision. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed.

The return of the product to Searcode is at the customer’s expense, and any refund will be issued—based on the condition of the returned product—only after it has been physically received and inspected.

4.4 Returning the Product

The Customer must return the goods to:

The goods must be shipped without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date the Customer communicated the withdrawal. Return shipping costs and transport responsibility are entirely borne by the Customer.

4.5 Condition of Returned Goods

Products must be returned intact, undamaged, and in their original packaging, complete with all components. The Customer must include proof of purchase inside the return package; otherwise, the refund may not be guaranteed.

5 – Legal Warranty

Customers in the European Union are entitled to a legal warranty on products purchased through the Coverride website. This warranty covers lack of conformity within two years from delivery.

5.1 Legal Warranty Conditions

The legal warranty covers conformity defects that appear within two years from delivery, provided that the defect is reported within two months from its discovery.

5.2 Defects Covered and Customer Rights

The legal warranty covers any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.
If a product is defective, the Customer is entitled to repair or replacement free of charge unless such remedy is impossible or excessively burdensome. As an alternative, the Customer may request a price reduction or contract termination if repair or replacement is impossible or not performed within a reasonable time or without inconvenience.

5.3 Exclusions from Legal Warranty

The legal warranty does not cover:

  • damage caused by improper, negligent, or incorrect use;

  • normal wear and tear;

  • repairs performed by unauthorized parties;

  • unauthorized modifications;

  • defects or damage caused by drops, impacts, liquid infiltration, or external agents;

  • accessories, consumables, or components subject to natural deterioration.

5.4 Applying the Legal Warranty – Procedure

To exercise the warranty, the Customer must notify Searcode of the defect within two months of discovering it. Notification must be sent to info@coverride.com with:

  • proof of purchase

  • a detailed description of the defect

If the defect falls under the legal warranty, the Customer must ship the product to Searcode for inspection. If the defect is confirmed, Searcode will repair or replace the item as described in Article 5.2 and refund shipping costs. If the defect is not covered, all shipping costs will remain the Customer’s responsibility.

5.5 Refund or Return

If repair or replacement in application of legal warranty is impossible or not performed within 60 business days, the Customer is entitled to a price reduction, full refund, or return of the defective product.

5.6 Out-of-Warranty Repair

It is possible to request out-of-warranty repairs by writing to info@coverride.com. The repair request is not binding, and if the repair is accepted by Searcode, the Customer will receive a quote. The quote must be paid by the Customer in advance and in any case before delivering the product to Searcode for repair. The maximum repair time is 30 days from the date the product is received by Searcode, excluding transit times for receiving and returning the product.

 

6 – Final Provisions

6.1 General Liability

Coverride products are CE and FCC certified.
Searcode is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of purchased products. Liability is in all cases limited exclusively to the value of the purchased product.

6.2 Amendments to this Contract

Searcode reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with immediate effect upon publication on the website.

6.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
Any disputes not resolved amicably shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Catanzaro, Italy.

These Terms govern the use of the Coverride product apps. Acceptance of these Terms is required to register and use the app.

These Terms are a contract between SEARCODE SRL and the user of the app (the “Customer”), who, by using or registering within the app, expressly accepts them.

1. Purpose of the Service

The Coverride app allows the Customer to:

  • configure, customize, or manage Coverride products;

  • connect to compatible physical devices;

  • upload, send, or manage content intended for Coverride devices;

  • access additional features provided by Searcode.

Searcode may modify, update, or remove features at any time without notice.

2. Eligibility and Customer Obligations

To use the app, the Customer declares that they:

  • are at least 14 years old (or older if required by local law);

  • provide truthful and complete information;

  • use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

The Customer agrees not to:

  • violate the rights of third parties;

  • use the app for illegal, offensive, or harmful activity;

  • attempt to decompile, copy, modify, or interfere with the App, servers, or code;

  • upload content that violates copyright, trademarks, privacy, or any applicable regulation.

3. Account and Security

Access to app features requires registration. The Customer is responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials;

  • all activities carried out through their account.

Searcode is not liable for damages resulting from improper account use or unauthorized access by third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the app—including but not limited to:

  • software, code, algorithms;

  • design, text, graphics;

  • logos, trademarks, multimedia materials—

is owned by Searcode or licensed to Searcode and protected under intellectual property laws.

Reproduction, distribution, modification, reverse engineering, or any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Designs displayed in the marketplace and provided for free may originate from copyright-free platforms (e.g., Pixabay). All rights remain with their respective owners.

5. Content Uploaded by the Customer

The Customer may upload content (photos, videos, files, or other materials) intended for use with Coverride devices.

The Customer represents and warrants that such content:

  • does not violate third-party rights;

  • does not contain illegal, offensive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful material.

Searcode is not responsible for content uploaded by the Customer.
Uploaded content is stored locally on the Customer’s device and is not accessible to Searcode. Deleting the app will delete the uploaded content.

6. Connection to Coverride Physical Devices

The app may connect to Coverride physical devices via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FTP, or other protocols.

The Coverride iPhone app supports both the “Coverride” cover and the Coverride Smart Pendant.
The Android app supports only the Coverride Smart Pendant.

The App is available exclusively on Android and iOS smartphones.

The Customer acknowledges that:

  • compatibility may vary based on device and operating system;

  • issues arising from incorrect configuration, unauthorized modifications, or improper use are not attributable to Searcode;

  • Searcode is not responsible for incompatibilities with smartphones running OS versions released more than 12 months prior and not updated to newer versions.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of:

  • absence of errors or bugs;

  • continuous availability;

  • compatibility with all commercial devices;

  • compatibility with all multimedia content.

Searcode is not liable for:

  • direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;

  • service interruptions or device malfunctions;

  • damages caused by improper app or device use;

  • inability to use specific multimedia content.

However, Searcode commits to fixing bugs, maintaining compatibility with as many devices as possible, and restoring service interruptions except in cases of force majeure.

8. Payments and Premium Services

If the app offers paid features or subscriptions:

  • prices will be displayed within the app;

  • payments will be processed through the store system (Google Play / App Store) or external circuits;

  • refunds will follow the policies of the store, external payment systems, and Searcode.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Use of the app is subject to Searcode’s Privacy Policy, accessible within the App and available on the official website.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

Searcode may suspend or terminate the Customer’s account, and may also block Coverride devices, without notice in cases of:

  • violation of these Terms;

  • improper use of the App;

  • fraudulent or potentially harmful activity;

  • theft of the product or the smartphone on which the app is installed.

11. Amendments to the Terms

Searcode may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes become effective upon publication on the website. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.
Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Catanzaro, Italy, unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.

The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of:

  • absence of errors or bugs;

  • continuous availability;

  • compatibility with all commercial devices;

  • compatibility with all multimedia content.

Searcode is not liable for:

  • direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;

  • service interruptions or device malfunctions;

  • damages caused by improper app or device use;

  • inability to use specific multimedia content.

However, Searcode commits to fixing bugs, maintaining compatibility with as many devices as possible, and restoring service interruptions except in cases of force majeure.

8. Payments and Premium Services

If the app offers paid features or subscriptions:

  • prices will be displayed within the app;

  • payments will be processed through the store system (Google Play / App Store) or external circuits;

  • refunds will follow the policies of the store, external payment systems, and Searcode.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Use of the app is subject to Searcode’s Privacy Policy, accessible within the App and available on the official website.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

Searcode may suspend or terminate the Customer’s account, and may also block Coverride devices, without notice in cases of:

  • violation of these Terms;

  • improper use of the App;

  • fraudulent or potentially harmful activity;

  • theft of the product or the smartphone on which the app is installed.

11. Amendments to the Terms

Searcode may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes become effective upon publication on the website. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.
Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Catanzaro, Italy, unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.
